MTI’s Wireless Monitoring is unique because it is an all-inclusive system that collects and transmits data independent of your existing IT infrastructure, so there is no burden on your company’s IT department. Our equipment operates in the 900mhz frequency band and can transmit data up to 6 miles line-of-site. This means no interference from cell phones or your corporate Wi-Fi, and it uses FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) to secure your data. In addition, MTI Wireless has experienced onsite vibration analysts with the skills and critical thinking capabilities necessary to succeed in creating a customized layout to fit your business needs.

Nothing is left to chance with the MTI Wireless system. We have meticulously engineered it to give you complete confidence in your equipment’s health. Our skilled analysts strategically place sensors and nodes on your equipment. The sensors then gather data from your equipment, while the wireless nodes securely relay the data through our network of devices to the controller box, the “brains” of our wireless system. 

The controller box collects, processes, and uploads the data to a secure cloud storage environment using a cellular-connected device. This eliminates the need for involvement from your IT department. You can also connect directly to any PLC or SCADA system using Modbus/TCP, Modbus RS-485, or Ethernet/IP for easy integration into existing control or monitoring systems. 

The cloud environment offers trending, dashboards, and alarms. Trending data allows you to compare parameters for analysis. For example, you can compare live data against alarm parameters to give quick insight into your machine’s health. Trending can utilize data as short as an hour to almost a year, and gives unlimited access to information that matters to you. 

A quick way to visualize the overall health of your assets is by utilizing the dashboard feature. A dashboard is a visual interface for sensors. With up-to-the-minute refresh capabilities and the ability to visually see individual sensors’ alarm statuses, complete data with trending is achieved.
